It’s Monday morning and while that may not be the best news for some, there is one good thing about Mondays and that’s the release of a brand new episode of Kvibe TV!
Last week we concluded our 4-part series on Walt Before Mickey in which director and Kvibe founder Khoa Le sat down with head editor Lauren Young to discuss their experiences working on the film. You can check it out at the Kvibe TV page.
In this week’s episode, Mainstream vs. Indie Filmmaking (Ep.2 / Pt 1 of 4) – What is an Assistant Director?, Khoa sits down with an old friend, assistant director Salvatore Sutera.
Video intros are your project’s welcome mat. They give viewers an idea of what to expect, entice them to move forward, and get them in the right frame of mind so that they’re ready to absorb the video’s content and message.
The problem is that many video creators, whether they’re businesses, artists, etc., don’t give their video intros the time and thought they deserve. They just introduce themselves, say the title, and then tell viewers to enjoy.
But video intros could, and should, do so much more, and if you give them the attention they deserve, you’ll be surprised by how many more viewers decide to stick around until the ends of your videos as a result.
In the final installment, Walt Before Mickey Ep1 (part 4) – Saving Money in Low-Budget Filmmaking, the film’s director and Kvibe Productions founder Khoa Le and head editor Lauren Young continue their discussion about their time working on the film and pass on more of what they learned along the way.
